New Charms!

After a long hiatus, I am back and am busy with some new ideas!! I am working to get those ideas to life!! I am slowly but surely adding inventory to my etsy store so please keep checking back!!♥♥

I am introducing a new line of charms that are more "realistic" instead of whimsical. I will still be making the whimsy charms, but for now I am having fun experimenting with what all I can try to make out of clay. Because of my iced coffee addiction, I recently made some Coffee House Iced Frappe charms that I think are just adorable!! They even have a light coffee scent! They take quite a bit of time and patience to make, I have a few other flavors in the works so keep checking back..

Happy Easter!! 

I wanted to show off these sweet little hair bows I made for my sweet little ones
for Easter to match their dresses. There are not
really any shops in my area that sell hair bows like these, and I didn't
have enough time to order some online, so
I thought I'd try my hand at making them. They are so expensive to buy, but
soooo easy to make, I cant believe I haven't made them before now!! Made
from a great tutorial I found online here. 
I am resisting the urge to attach a cute little cupcake charm to the middle of
the bows since these are for Easter. However, I am thinking of crafting up some
other hair bows that I can decorate with my charms and adding them to my etsy
shop, but who knows! 

In
other news I did make some Carrot Cake  Cupcake Charms in honor of Easter!
Who could resist these cute little spicy delicacies? The bases of these cupcakes
are a bit different than my normal cupcakes, they are textured and look more
like "real" cupcakes. I have been experimenting with different styles
lately. I am more fond of the more whimsical side instead of more realistic, but
I do like the way these bases look.  They will be going into my etsy shop
soon, when I can get a better picture of them. It is overcast and storming here
today, so this is the best shot I could get!!

Cute as a button!!

Just added to the shoppe today, new sweetly scented button embellishments !! Sprinkled Ice Cream Cones and Cupcakes!! They smell as sweet as they look! These would be really cute on just about anything that needs a little sweetening up dont you think!? I can definately see these on a handmade birthday card, or in a hairbow. They can also be made without the holes if you prefer!

Spring Cleaning, updates and new things to come!!

I am beginning to dust off the cobwebs on this blog.. Wow! Has it really been almost 9 months since I've posted last??!! man! So much has happened... I have been really busy with moving and the new addition to our family and trying to revamp my shop that time has really gotten away from me. I am hoping that I can maintain this blog better this time around, as I am in the process of changing around my etsy shop, adding more charms and brand new clothespin dollies. I also plan on adding some paper tags and such to my shoppe in the near future.

Food for Thought

I have had several custom requests, and was thinking of doing something along the lines of adding a "create your own" charms listing. Kind of a "bake shop" for my charms, if you will. I don't want people to feel like they are limited to purchase only what I offer, I normally create something on a whim, and from something I am envisioning in my own mind, so I know possibilites are endless if I can create options that include what other people are thinking/wanting. So look for this in the very near future!! I have to get a few more charms made up and listed and then I will be tackling this!

Also look for new yummy scents coming that will open a whole new plethora of charm possibilities!! :)

I finally managed to put one of my charms on a necklace! I think this would be a really cute necklace for a girl of all ages!! Smells sweet too!
